MAKE MONEY OFF vs ON

Off vs ON
  • He makes money off/on me. I sell it to him for 50 and he sells it to his friend for 70.
Could you tell me how to say this please?

1 How come he gets to choose the side of the bed he sleeps on.

2 God made it so that you gave birth right when you one the lottery.

He makes money out of/from me. I sell it to him for 50 and he sells it to his friend for 70. -- "out of" is most natural to me in informal English.
