Grammar

make feel comfortable

Hi,

Can I say "you are making me feel comfortable" when someone is very nice.

In addition to that, say, there is robot serving my breakfast, can I say, "it's convenient to have such a robot?" I don't think this is quite natural.

Thanks in advance.

  • You would say this only to a person with whom you have a close emotional contact.
  • Otherwise it could cause great embarrassment.

Actually, I think if you are talking to the robot, you could say, "You are making me feel comfortable", because that sort of sounds like robot language. And if the robot goes on to serve you your breakfast, you could say, "It's convenient to have you, Robot."
