make an easy buck

Hello,

I'd like to know the meaning of "make an easy buck."

Does this mean "to earn money easily by saying irresponsible things to someone?"

Thank you in advance,

In a certain context or situation it could mean that, but in essence it simply means to make money (or profit) easily (without expending effort or resources). This is a KISS style answer. Others will probably want to expand.
