This sentence is not correct. Please note my comments below.

We have enclosed a recent copy of our report with this letter, replacing the one that we sent

to you last week, as that copy was incomplete.

1) In this sense of the verb enclose, we usually have to include the phrase with [something],

as noted above. Personally, I wouldn't use this word here because the sentence becomes a little

wordy thus. I would use attached instead, for example.

2) If we send a recent (or: most recent) copy of our report, we usually expect it would replace

the previous one.
