Make a mistake with names

Hi,

Sometimes I wanted to call my first son's name, but I called my second son's name.

What word can I use to describe this context?

I mis- their names?
Is there a verb that begins with mis?

Thanks

I would say only that you called him by the wrong name. I don't think there is a parent of more than one child alive who has not done this. Half the time, the dog's name got in there too.
