Make

Hello...

I remember watching dramas using the verb "make" to mean like below...
But I can't find this meaning in the dictionary.
As long as I remember, the followings are all correct.
Am I right?

They made me. ---- They found out who I was, when I tried to conceal.
----> I was made(passive voice). ---- the same meaning.

They made my face. --- They looked at my face and found out who I was, when I tried to conceal.

They made what they perceived. ---- They figured out what they perceived. // Firtst they perceived, and then later they sorted out, or found the meaning of that they perceived.

org/wiki/make : (US slang) To recognise, identify. I can't find this in a few other dictionaries that I checked, which surprises me a little. I suppose it's possible I may have missed something since the entries for "make" are quite long.
