Vocabulary

major role

Hello!

Should I write 'sufficient to teach' or 'sufficient for reaching'?

Can we say that 'the major role' is played by engines?

Surface drive is not by itself sufficient for/to reach/ reaching the real speed. The major role is played by the engines. And they are really something!

Thank you Mister Micawber. I obviously translated high speed literally.
