Maintain in the memory that (definition for 'remember')

Hi teachers,
Besides the definitions from the dictionaries, would the one in parentheses be an appropriate too?
A: Remember, (maintain in the memory that) tomorrow will be Friday and we have to work, so I don't want to get home too late, okay?

Thanks in advance.
