The importance of biodiversity is being widely recognized as increasing numbers of species come under threat.

What can be done to maintain biodiversity?

The natural structure of the Earth’s biology is deemed to maintain the stable environment for human being’s development through generations. This core fact, however, used to not be considerably and accurately recognized when biodiversity has been put under threat by reasons such as global warming, hunting, and pollution - which have been blamed on the decrease of the numbers of species. Thus, people should take actions with the purpose of addressing the results coming from those reasons.

Global warming caused by daily and manufacturing activities of the human race has been changing the original weather in many regions throughout the world. This changes partly attribute to the falling number of animals because their living conditions have been altered and they are unable to adapt quickly to those alterations. Therefore, people should diminish global warming’s results by cutting down CO₂, the main gas causes the situation deteriorated, for example, using green energies (wind, solar or electric energy). By doing this suggestion, the living environment for animals, plants shall not be changed dramatically and the figure of creatures could be held stably.

Along with global warming, pollution is also considered as one of the factors leading to abate biodiversity. Air, soil and water pollution have been causing harmful impacts on living creatures when the disappearance of them tends to increase due to eating, drinking and absorbing contaminated substances. The contaminated substances should be supplanted with more friendly-environment ones. Aside from that, the process of manufacturing also ought to take account to the improvement of the mechanism for waste treatment before disposal it to the environment.

Furthermore, hunting animals for fur, meat is popular in Asia, which decreases the numbers of species too. The hidden reason for this activity is people’s belief on the curable function of wild animals’ parts, which have not been scientifically proven. This reason has made a great deal number of species on the edge of extinction. Hence, the governments are in need of enacting a new law on protecting wild animals from hunting and researching an effective method to apply it in real life, as well as a strategy to change the awareness of people.

Conclusion, people should prevent global warming, pollution, and hunting from becoming worse by those recommended solutions in order to stabilize biodiversity as an approach to maintain a future for human’s next generations.
