mail to my new manager

Hello

I am about to join a new company and need to send an email to my new manager. I have come up with this mail, what do you guys/gals think of it

Dear pablo

I am starting on Thursday and HR informs me that i should contact you this week to get instructions on what to do on my arrival.

Do you have any specific instructions for me. IS there a good time to call you or can you mail me any instructions.

Best Regards
Juan

It does make it slightly more formal, yes, but I don't think that hurts for your contact with your new boss - unless you already know him?

I would still not be too informal in your email - unless it is the sort of company where everyone is lounging around in jeans, has surfboards stuck to the wall, and a booze cabinet (like one company I know).

Either title would be ok.
