Magical

The man of my dreams finally comes back to me.

I say:

I've been waiting for you for 10 years. OR

I've waited for you for 10 years. Or

I waited for you for 10 years.

Which one should I use if he's finally come back to me and is right in front of me.

Thanks!

You have to use present perfect continuous to emphasize on the duration, therefore, the right sentence is I've been waiting for you for ten years. The third sentence is definitely incorrect because it indicates that you haven't been waiting for him recently which is not the meaning you want to convey.
