Made of plastic / plastics

Hello everyone. I have a couple of questioins.

Q1 Which of the following two senteces is appropriate when someone wants to say something to the effect that we seem to be surrouded by plastic products these days? --

(A) It seems to me that nowadays most things are made of plastic.

(B) It seems to me that nowadays most things are made of plastics.

Q2 In fact, I don't think (B) is correct. What do you think? Is (B) still possible?

Hi I think (B) is OK, but few people know much about how different things are made of different plastics. I have to say, I don't. It's a good sentence, maybe you'd only use it in a scientific way In an everyday way, people would use plastic as a singular noun: "Everything seems to be made out of plastic" Hope this helps, Dave
