Madam Chairperson

Madam Chairperson, thanks for allowing me to speak once again. I will just make two additional points. First, I have been misquoted here. I have never said there is no mismanagement of the economy on the part of the government. What I said is that souring prices of oil on the international market and the government's subsequent measures to withdraw subsidy from oil imports are the direct causes of the recent inflation.

My second point relates to the issue of the rule of law. I fully agree with Livingstone that a culture of impunity does exist and this is having an impact on the rule of law.
