Mad cow disease

Now that they have discovered mad cow disease in four states, France aren't buying beef right now, basically europe aren't buying no beef right now.

Is this hurting the beef industry now?I think so because, beef is the biggest selling industry we have (Mcdonald's,burger king,wendy's,ect.) right now.I would really like to talk about this more so,give me your response to this sitution please, because this is a very serious situation we're dealing with.
