'On' suggests that the Faculty of Economics was the object of the study. Is that what you mean?

I think you probably mean 'by'.

actually somebody who works on the Faculty has done the study as a part of his masters degree.

If you are 'on the Faculty', it suggest that you teach students. I don't know if that's what you mean here.

You work on the faculty and conduct research,here I put the word study but it is actually a paper on the research that has been conducted by a faculty member.

Sorry, actually, the person who conducted a research is a student of the Faculty who did the research as a part of his MA thesis.
