Ever stumbled upon a song of which the lyrics left you, bluntly speaking, thinking or even saying 'what the '? Well I've found one of those. And I'm wondering if anyone can decipher it for me. The song's 'Band Aid Covers the Bullet Hole' by Scarling.

Ok have you ever taken English at a high level? Ok I can't decipher it for you but i can help you get started. Here's an example of what I wanted to say " girls vomit candy and lies that they're fed” from what I can gather, from connotations of candy it's sweet, it's not healthy, candy can be quite addictive, erm lets see... and "the lies that they're fed" seems to me like things that you are told, and you take them for granted that they are truth, when they really aren't. Food is a common part of or lives we live on it. Being fed lies sounds like they are being lied to all the time. And it's just become another part of their lives. Search for connotations in particular words and phrases: metaphors, similes: The whole set, figurative language. The "Bees in the caramel and I’m not afraid" has confused me. One time I’ll have a look at this and see what I can get from it. The only thing I hate about that is it makes you sick of the poem/song/story you are analyzing. You could love this story to start off with but then you just can't stand the sight of it. Anyway I’ll leave you with that.

anyway. yeah it coudl be bulimic girls. As i said it can have so many different meanings to it. but you will get a rough idea that runs current through out it. you just need to find it. Yeah hey it's me from the previous, previous post about getting started on the song lyrics. Decided I would become a member. It does sound like bulimic girls at the surface. I think I went a bit deep in the first go lol. Yeah it could be about bulimic girls. You’ll find you'll get loads of different interpretations of the text. But you will get a current idea running through it - Just need to find it. One day I WILL sit down and try and figure it all out. Except my essay writing skills are very poor. As far as I can gather, the colours I think, represent the emotion that's locked up inside the person. The colours building up in the person's mind: all the anger, hate, sorrow, confusion. Bleeding to the heart - probably supposed to mean they hurt and they are begining to overflow, flowing through every part of the being.

The burst veins. Showing that the person can no longer hide these emotions they keep inside, it's become too much, and they can no longer hide it within themselves. Nor can they any longer survive with these thoughts within them.

The "brush and plate" is a sign that they person is being given a chance to explain how they feel, what they think. Giving them a chance to speak.

I think this song is basically about opening yourself up, how hard it can be to explain what you feel, and hiding your thoughts from people around you. It's a nice song, reminds me of me..

hi, i am gonna tell u what i think the lyrics mean but it may not be rite cuz this is the kinda song that has a diff meaning from person to person.

Well... I dunno if it's right, but that's what I think... (anyway, I really like this song). I'll try to explain verse by verse.

Bees in the caramel and I'm not afraid: People that are bigger than you (not in height ;P) getting the ~~sweet~~ good things but you have no fear of them. You don't care.

Girls vomit candy and lies that they're fed: Girls "repeat" the lies and the sweet things that people tell them (or simply get sick by them - I'm not really sure about it)
Boys whisper lullabies and wet their beds: Boys try to act like grown-ups but are just like kids (that wet their beds 8D)

Talking with their mouths full here is what they've said: Here can be about the boys or ~~you~~ everyone. It says that they repeat what they see on TV as if those opinions were absolute and inquestionable. And act as if all the violence they see were normal things.
