Low-maintenance

Hi,

I know that ‘low maintenance’ means that something requires little care. I was just wondering if it could be used to describe a univerisity course that isn’t difficult or time demanding.

I assume that ‘low maintenance’ wouldn’t really work there, but perhaps something similar would.

“The Introduction to Biology is a low-maintenance course.”

Thank you.

I've never heard "low-maintenance" applied to course work. I'd use the idiom below. Introduction to Biology is a piece of cake.
