Loved or be loved?

a) She just wants to let herself loved.

b) She just wants to let herself be loved.

Between the above, which one is more appropriate, a) or b)?

I saw b) is more appropriate than a). Do you know the reason?


In the following sentences, be dyed is not correct.

*** I had her dye my hair. -> I had my hair dyed by her. (o)
