Love VS adore

I think adore is stronger because in the dictionary it says that adore means to admire respect and love that person but love only means love.People may find love stronger because no one says adore anymore because of its high standards so it lost its meaning and since saying lobe is normal thing to say in a relationship people expect that and not adore.
