Love for me/ love of me

I thank for God's love for me.
I thank for God's love of me.

Could you tell me how these sentences sound?
Do they have the same meaning?

Thanks...

Hi eujinny,

Neither of these works.

You need to say I am thankful for something.

Thank is a verb. You can't say "I am thank." You can give thanks, or you can thank someone.

Thanks for the help,
As the final question, Could you teach me
the difference between your love of neighbors
your love for neighbors ?

Hi eujinny,

Your love of food, wine, sports or science. When using 'Of, it seems to focus more on the 'type of subject' that you love.

Your love for dogs, people, life or neighbour. Using 'For' seems to describe more of the 'content of love' you are expressing for the subject.

Regards.
