I wonder if there is a remarkable difference between "lots of apple" and "loads of apple", or are they completely same?

In decreasing order of formality:

A lot of apples...

Lots of apples...

Loads of apples... (Unless you are truly talking about shipments and the number of truckloads.)

Note that apple would be plural in any of these uses.
