Which one is natural? Would you change anything?

anonymous, Before commenting on your sentences, I'd like to point out the "suspense" is the wrong choice of word in a couple of your sentences. Suspense- is usually idimatically associated with movie plot, story, and events. Perhaps "surprise" in my opinion is a better.
