In islamic theology, *** give the lot of every creature, so it means combing extends this lot. Adds to it

Combing your hair??

In English, your lot in life from *** is what he gives you—your fate—it cannot be changed. Your lot is also good or bad, not small or big, so any addition could be a worsening or bettering, not an extension.

All in all, your phrase suffers badly in translation.

I think I am going to have to give up on this, soheil. I cannot for the life of me see how combing one's hair has anything to do with getting more food and money. However, 'getting more food and money' could be better described as 'improving one's circumstances / living conditions' than 'adding to one

Hi

If you comb someone's hair, it is a good thing. You don't have to do it, but it is good if you do

I believe the word is 'Mustahhab' and there's no easy translation into English - I suppose I'd say it's a kindness

But you'll have to research that - I'm no expert!
