Lose one's cool

When I was celebrating my fifteenth anniversary at the company, my boss gave me a few bottles of wine, which I thought was way too little taking in mind all the hard work I'd done for him throughout the years, so I just completely lost my cool and started yelling at him.

Is the phrase "lose one's cool" natural for this context?
