I'm looking for a word like 'judge", "typecast" or "discriminate" What would fit?

Don't ___. Just because he doesn't fit the profile of a policeman doesn't mean he isn't one.

Is this correct?
Just because he was mean to you, don't lump bracket all of us together.

Don't ___. Just because he doesn't fit the profile of a policeman doesn't mean he isn't one. Of the three, only "typecast" works, in my opinion.
