looking for the right term - class monitor? class prefect? anything else?
Hi,
There is a typical class in a typical Russian (state) school.
It is common practice in local schools that each class master (=the teacher "responsible" for the given class) appoints a class monitor -- one of the students/pupils who is supposed to help him or her in class.
I am not sure if the description above makes sense to you... If it does, is the term "class monitor" (or class prefect, or smth else) works ok in tghis context?
