If I am a student at a university and I want to cease my relationship with it and put myself onto the official list of students of another, what do I have to do then? What is the right word?

Not exactly. I meant to withdraw from a course at a university and enrol in another one on the same course.

Let us say I started and have been doing a course at X university and I want to finish it in Y; to coin a phrase, to swap horses in midstream.

Do they say to change universities? If I hear that there is no implication to me that the person at hand cont
