Looking for the english word!

Hello I'm a graduated Engineer from Germany and I need a translation of the word "Wanderlast". It's an technical term. It is a load that moves from poin A to point B. For example: A person is crossing a small creek via a plank. Until he's walking the force (which results of his weight) has on every step he's walking a different influence at the points (A+B (the riverbanks on both sides)) where the plank is mountet.

Thanks for answering.

Kind regards, Maik

Hi,

I wonder if yu could just speak of 'a moving load'? I found this title of a paper in the online version of the Canadian Journal of Civil Engineering.
