Greetings from Guayaquil - Ecuador, actually I am studyin english and I pretend to take the ibt TOEFL this year. I would be grateful if you could help me to improve my written english .

Question:
Some people wish to ban smoking in public places. Others don't agree. What is your opinion?

Use reasons and specific examples to support your opinion.

Your Answer:
I disagree with the possibility of smoking in public places specially because it doesn`t consider the choice of people who are not used to do this vice to preserve their health. It should be convenien`t to ban smoking in public in order to preserve non smoker's health at the same time autorities take care of the cleannes of public places.

The smoke generated by cigarretes not only affects people who have lighted them on, this bad smoke is even more dangerous for all who are aroud a smoker. If lighting a cigar is an option for certain people, breathing clean air should also be a possibility in every place. This is the main reason why smoking in public places shouldn`t be permitted

In places where smoking is allowed it is an usual image to see a lot of garbage on the floor specially cigarette ends and cigarette boxes wich give the impression of carelessness of the autorities on charge of that place. This fact should evolve positively if special areas were provided for smokers, keeping public places always clean and well preserved.

Smoking if bad for health and it should be very unfair if the air in public places is contaminated for everyone, including those who always try to preserve their body`s health. Banning the possibility of lighting cigarretes, cigars and other kind of contaminating products inside public places should be an excellent option for everybody.
