Looking for simple texts (stories) in English

Dear English Teachers,

If you could help me in the following matter...

I have been looking for VERY simple English texts (stories) meeting the following criteria:
(1) written by native speakers
(2) written in Present/Past Indefinite and/or Present/Past Continuous
(3) written based on a rudimentary vocabulary and very simple grammar
(4) short enough

In shot, I've been trying to find some texts suitable for those who just started learning English.
Could you please point me to the right sources/links?
