Looking for people for a pedagogy project on culture

Hi,

I am studying in Teaching English as a second language at university. In my pedagogy class on culture we have a project to do.I would like to discuss with people from other cultures. Since culture is a very wide topic..I think I will focus on one aspect. I would like to know about school systems of different countries. Please feel free to ask question about my culture to. I live in Québec city (Canada).

I don't know if you are familiar with Québec (Canada) system of education... First there is 6 years in primary school, afterwards 5 years in secondary, 2-3 years in Cegep and then there is University. In the rest of Canada ther

Well, I can tell you about the spanish school system.

First of all, we have a "pre-primary school" (I don't know how to name it, but here, we call it "Preescolar") where children from 3 to 5 years go and start learning the main things like the colours, and numbers...etc. Later, starts primary school, from 6 years old to 13-14 years old. After this, you should do "E.S.O"

Actually I don't like the current education system. Although English is important in many fields, many people don't use it when they left school. English should not be the weight in one's life. It's a skill to communicate with people in the world.
