looking for less formal synonymous terms

Hi,

polygamist - polyandrist - polygynist (*)

All these words look extremely formal ("academic") to me.
Are there less formal synonyms of (*)?

The second two are rather more 'formal' only because they are less common as situations. In the same way, 'polygamist' is less common than 'bigamist'—making the latter a frequently occurring, 'less formal', word. In reality, all are of equal register. In fact, no less 'formal' vocabulary springs to mind.
