[looking for errors and mistakes]

Dear Users,

Could you please help me improve the following sentences? Punctuation and grammar are probably lacking,

Well, you know most of it, if not all of it, already. Tom, the guy who's the vice principal, expressed his regret and surprise that I want to leave. He said a few times that I'm a very good worker and that it's a blow to the company. He also advised me to stay until the end, saying that it's only 4 extra months, and that it would look much better on my CV that I finished the year. He also said that if I ever wanted to return, the door would be open. At the end, they asked me to reconsider my decision and gave me time until the end of the next week. The whole thing is sort of grotesque because it's them who should do something to keep me, rather than me trying to come up with some sort of solution.

Thanks
