Imagine a child with Cerebral Palsy, being trained to walk. His caregiver holds his either arms by hers, puts up his feet on top of hers and then practices him to walk. This action is much alike dads and moms playing with their child during playtime. Is there a phrase to denote this? An exact word, perhaps? Thanks.
I do not know of a name for that practice. There ought to be one, like "the Ripley loader" or "shadow walking", but there isn't. If I wanted to describe it, I would have to do so meticulously.
