I'm looking for a word or a phrase that describe when you don't want to do something, but other events in your life push you to do it eventually. If you know, please tell me. Thank you.

The Brits say "Needs must", short for "Needs must when the devil drives." It doesn't make plain sense in modern English, partly because it is archaic grammar, partly because the wording has changed so much over the centuries that the grammar, archaic or not, doesn't even work any more. Shakespeare had it "he must needs go that the devil drives." (He whom the devil drive must necessarily go.)

The first word that crossed my mind is "forced", it's an adjective; it's taken from the noun "force", it's a strong word that can express such feeling you wanted pretty well.

other words are: coerced, compelled
