Looking for a word (~customer traffic)

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a word that describes the number/amount of the customers of a business venue.
E.g., the amount of people that bought something at my shop yesterday.

It may be a specific business word but I think it should be common.
My best guess so far is 'customer traffic'. Is it proper to use? E.g., the customer traffic at my shop was high yesterday. If not, what would you use?

Thanks in advance.
