Looking for a word

Hi.
I am looking for a noun or adjective describing a person who does consipracy against his own country.
I can think of the following words, but I don't think if any of them precisely describes such a person.

Betrayer, traitor, turncoat, defector, deserter, mole, renegade, treacherous.

Thank you for your help

Hi Clive.
Thank you for your response.
As for the type of conspiracy, for an instance when his country is in war, he/she might help the other country to win the battle against his home country.
I think, if this conspiracy is limited to giving information, we can call it mole as well. Right?
Thank you
Hamid

Hi,

Use the word 'traitor'. Such a person would be charged with the crime of treason.

A mole
This word focuses on how such a person reaches a position of trust.

If he's a spy, then double-agent would fit. Otherwise, traitor or turncoat.

Hi Hamid,

Clive and Alpheccastar have mentioned incisive remarks, but adding to those I can think of "spy" and "quisling" which the latter has an interesting etymology.
This word has been rooted from the name of a Norwegian officer who betrayed his own country for the benefit of N.a.z.i.s during the World War II. And from then after this word became a meaningful vocabulary in English.
