I am looking for words used for describing different kinds of driving licences.
What is the word for normal driving licence?
What is the word for driving licence that is used for vehicle surpassing a specific weight? Do we cal them comercial driving licence? Heavy vehicle driving licence?

I came across this 3-year old post while researching a similar question; so thought I'd post my results here.

There are different wordings and spellings in different, English-speaking countries. In the USA, it is 'Driver's License'. In the UK, it is 'Driving Licence'.

Excuse me, but that's the point: 'Driver's License' is only true in Arkansas, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.
