Looking for a word

Hi,
What do we call the croaking sound made heard from stomach while one is hungry?
And any relevant idiom or phrase for expressing such a feeling?
For example is the following one possible?:

- I'm starving, don't you hear my stomach is croaking?

Regards,

Iman

Growl.
I'm so hungry I can hear my stomach growl (growling).
While growl is usually reserved for sounds coming from the throat (of a man or an animal) it is, I think, the word you're looking for.

Thank you prajwalkr. But don't you think that's suitable for animals while they're angry?

Yes, but it is also suitable for a hungry stomach!! And also, if you are angry.
