looking for a verb

hello,

I'm looking for a verb that could replace 'collects' in the sentence below and that would work with the word 'air', and that would be the opposite of 'push' (to be pushed by air).

A vacuum cleaner collects dust.

I don't know how to explain the word I'm looking for. I mean that the air causes that sth is pulled to a pipe (container, or anything else), what verb describes this process.

thank you
