I'm having troubles translating a text into English. I need (ideally) a phrase meaning something like "the constellation of stars was just suitable (for something to happen)".

You will probably get better answers if you provide more context but you might try this "the stars were aligned."

A Google search will give you examples of how it's used.

More context is needed. Something like:

(It was) a propitious (or auspicious) alignment of stars.

might work.

What gave them their strength and courage still remains unanswered. Where did they take the support and inspiration from? Was it the feel of the era? Were the stars aligned for them?
