Hi. The action of kiilling is unfair intrinsically. I can think of many words for killing such as slay, slaughter, murder, assasinate, execute, eliminate, butcher, bump off.

Thank you Hamid very much, but I think I've mentioned my purpose improperly.

I'm looking for a word which means to kill someone treacherously, like killing sb from backward.

Iman

You mean backstabbing someone?

Dear CSnyder,

Thank you for the word, but that doesn't suit the act of killing.

It sure does. What do you think stabbing someone in the back does to them? Just because something is used as a metaphor doesn't mean it can't also be used literally.

True enough but the act of stabbing someone (in the back or anywhere else) doesn't necessarily kill them.

As far as I know English doesn't have a single word for what the original poster is asking. There are of course "murder" and "manslaughter" both of which are unlawful killi

"Fragging" is the closest fit, but it's pretty much exclusively military.

Thank you CSnyder. Yes,that was a bit closer.
