Which one is correct? I confuse between look over and overlook, what's the difference between them?

Anonymous Which one is correct? If you say the first one, everybody will know you intended to say the second one. Generally, though, look over is used in the sense of taking care of or inspecting, and I'm sure your flat is not taking care of the Nile or inspecting the Nile.
