Look out ?

Hi, My dictionary tells me that "look out" means "be careful". So when we are in a room, what should I say to ask somebody to look at something outside the windows? Thanks very much

"'Look (out the window) at that strange bird in the tree!"

So, if I want to use "look" + "out" in this sense, I must add a noun that follows the "out". Am I right? Thanks.

Unless you're standing in front of the window, door or hole in the wall and pointing with your finger—yes.
