Look-ing?

Hi guys,

I see lots of people complement their friends on appearnces with something along the lines of:

"Looking good!"

Is that grammatically correct? Shouldn't it be "You look good!"?

Maybe it's just me but I have always perceived the word looking as a verb that could be used in the context of maybe viewing something in the general vicinity of a users line of sight, or quite possibly searching for something.

What do you guys think?
