I'm looking for work tends to suggest the speaker is not looking for 'high-level, educated, permanent' type of work. eg ' I'll do anything!'

Also watch out because work is uncountable so be careful with the use of the article .

Hi,

I think job is countable than I have to say "for a job",right? If I say "I m looking for job" is it totally unmeaningful ?

Thanks
