I've been asked recently if there's any difference between to look (for sth) and to search (for sth) What's your opinion on that subject? I don't know if there's really a difference between, let's say:
I'm looking for a new CD by... AND I'm searching for a new CD by...

There is really no difference in meaning. Except 'look for' is a phrasal verb.
