Do native speakers use the phrase "look changed" like this?

She was looking changed after her illness.
(instead of looking different)

Yes, but I think "She looked changed ..." would be more natural for me personally.

One more question: why of these sentences do you like better?

Everything in the house looked different to him as he stepped in after ten years.
Everything in the house looked changed to him as he stepped in after ten years.
