Look at vs Watch

Hi. Please help me to find the appropriate word.

Ann look at / watch John. Do you see how talented your brother is?

Top answer

'Watch' means extending looking at a moving situation or event. 'Look at' is a deliberate direction of one's eyes at an object or event. Either could apply, since you have not revealed to us the nature of the brother's talent.

Thank you Mister Micawber.
Ann's father is angry.because Ann is a lazy girl.so father wants to make Ann jealous.
Hence he says : "Ann look at / watch John. Do you see how talented your brother is?"
John dose nothing.he just stands there and look at her sister all sad.

Well, I still cannot make a choice. It could be either, since John evidently has no talent.

My last question.
Regardless of how many lines I have written—one phrase or one sentence or two paragraph—can I say "is my wording correct?" to point to every aspect of my writing.Including grammar and vocabulary.

Yes, of course—but it depends upon the individual respondent as to how thoroughly your expectations are met.
