In this sentence, "more" - suggests comparison. But here, there is nothing to compare. So I would just say" I want to focus on [improving] marketing ......

In business lingo, besides "long term", we can also say " I want to focus on XYZ in the longer term / over the longer horizo

thank you both for your suggestions. What I really want to know is if it is wrong to write "marketing long-term" instead of "marketing in the long-term".

Thanks
